Death of Her Majesty the Queen

We were all saddened to hear of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. She was born on 21 April 1926, ascended the throne on 6th February 1952 and passed away on 8th September 2022. England Hockey have released the following statement on behalf of the sport.

"On behalf of England Hockey and the hockey community, we are deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and offer our sincerest condolences to the whole royal family and our patron HRH Countess of Wessex, the Queen’s daughter-in-law. With gratitude for your tireless efforts over decades of public service and for all you have given to communities across the UK and the world. Thank you".

In line with the guidance received GHA activities will continue but with appropriate marks of respect.
