Information on the 2023-2024 schools hockey tournaments.
A further update.
1. Payment - the payment facilities are now fully operational for all trial squads - the fee for attending trials is £20.
You can either set up a Direct Debit via GoCardless (we could not transfer the old ones from the Player Pathway System - apologies) OR
Pay by card (preferable)
2. Registration - please can you complete registration if you haven't already done so - there are a few strange questions that have been added in by England Hockey - apologies if they are a bit cumbersome to complete.
3. Trials
Dear All
Please see the second update below.
1. Payment
The payment facilities are now operational - the fee for attending trials is £20. You can either set up a Direct Debit via GoCardless (we could not transfer the old ones from the Player Pathway System - apologies) OR pay by card. So far we have only set a charge for the U13 Boys to check that this works in the live environment. As soon as we have confirmation that it does work, we will apply a charge to all other trial squads. Hopefully within the next few days or so.
Dear All
Please read the below carefully.
We have completed the migration of player data from the old system to the new Club Buzz system - each player should have received a email from the system to complete registration on the new system. Please can you check that you have received this - it may well be in your spam folder.
All players in county and development squads last season have been migrated as well as all nominations that we have received up until yesterday.
Here are the minutes of the meeting.
The GHA AGM will take place on Wednesday 17th May 2023 via Zoom. The meeting will commence at 7:30pm. It is vital that all Gloucestershire clubs are represented. A link for the Zoom meeting can be obtained from Andrew Hopcraft, GHA secretary (secretary@glos-ha.org.uk) and will be emailed to club representatives nearer the time.
As Treasurer of Gloucestershire Hockey Association I normally contact clubs around the start of the season asking for your club’s affiliation fees to be paid. The process has been long delayed this season because England Hockey have taken a long time to allocate clubs to sub-areas (counties).
The above meeting took place at the Civil Service Club, Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham starting at 7:30pm.
The following documents are available.
Please find the orders of play / schedules at the links below for the GHA U8 Mixed, U10 Girls and Boys Junior Hockey Festivals this Sunday 19th March 2023. Please look very carefully at the orders of play / schedules as the U0 Girls and U10 boys are different to the U8 Mixed.
In U8s mixed there is 1 example of teams from the same Club playing each other, please forgive me for keeping it simple. In U10 boys to avoid teams of the same club playing each other there is a swap of a couple of teams in the last games, they are colour coded on the sheet.
