This year's event took place on 8th September, a beautiful autumn day. We were delighted to have Angie Atherton with us to present the trophy to the Lansdown captain at the end of the morning session.

The above will take place at Dean Close School on the 8th September. The competition is split into morning and afternoon sections.

Gloucestershire Hockey Association will again be running the Women’s Clubs Tournament on Sunday 8th September 2019. We have the use of both pitches at Dean Close School, Cheltenham for the day. We are inviting entries from all clubs affiliated to Gloucestershire HA. Our aim is to provide lots of friendly but competitive hockey of an appropriate standard for all participants. We envisage that the morning section will start at 10am going through till 12:30pm/1:00pm with the afternoon section starting at 2:00pm going through till 4.30pm/5:00pm.

Gloucestershire Hockey Association is holding its AGM on 29th May 2019 at the Civil Service Club on Tewkesbury Road in Cheltenham starting at 7:30pm. Please let's make sure all clubs are represented. The documents for the meeting can be accessed by clicking "Read more" below.

On Friday 17th May the Dean Close U13 girls' and boys' hockey teams travelled to Nottingham to compete in the England Hockey In2Schools National finals. It turned into an exceptional day!

As champions of Gloucestershire Lansdown Hockey Club's under 12 girls won through to represent the West region in the National Clubs competition.

Our summer Development Centres for Under 13 and Under 14 boys and girls start tonight and run through to 25th June 2019 in some venues. We are running four centres as so may of you have signed up. That you for your support. We hope everyone enjoys their hockey. See the calendar for specific dates and venues.

GHA is currently asking our clubs and schools to nominate junior players (boys and girls) for the GHA Under 13 Development Centres. The Development Centres are the first tier of the England Hockey Player Pathway. There is a link to more information on our "Juniors" page.
